Corrales K8 Counseling is here to support you!

The last day of school is Thursday, May 25, 2023. We are back at school on August 03, 2023! We have a new bell schedule for SY2324. 8:05 to 3:05 will be our new schedule. Counselor office hours are now 8:15-3:00, Mon-Fri. You are welcome to call my office and make an appointment or drop by our school.

We do have a sign-in log in our front office and all visitors are asked to sign in. Please email me if you would like to schedule a Google Meet for a virtual meeting. Starting with SY2324 we will have a Zen Den where I will be teaching mindfulness and the students can have a chill zone. Please click on Student Corner and Parent Resources.

Corrales K8 has a behavior redirector who works closely with the counselor, teachers, and administration to support our students. She will be full time at our school for SY2324. If you would like to reach out to Chris, you can email her to schedule a meeting from 8:15-3:00, Mon-Fri. You can email her by clicking on the link below her picture or emailing christina.romero@aps.edu. The Redirection program works in conjunction with existing school and classroom behavior management plans. It provides support for students who are in need of more specific planning for appropriate behavior.
